The garments have golden ecclesiastical embroidery and allusions to altar lace, the cutting of the garment is structured a nice fit to the body. The collection paired with accessories like tiaras, hair ornaments, and dangly earrings.
According to Vogue, the collection honoured the materials of homespun craft (needlepoint, tapestry), devotional religious hand-work (velvet, sumptuous gold-thread embroidery), and the faded baroque splendour of the cherub-filled paintings and curlicued woodwork in the palaces and basilicas of southern Italy.

The collection gives a casual, soft and lavish looking but eerie and fashion voodoo with the dark colouring, where it drapes perfectly to the body to create a nice silhouette.

However, Dolce & Gabbana has a more defined and clean cutting, the silhouette is very clear. Whereas Erdem’s dress is soft and flow, the silhouette depends on how the dress drapes and falls on the body.
